Health & Wellbeing

Health & WellbeingThe health services provided can be for pupils, parents and school staff, depending on how schools would like to use the interventions. Our main aim is to ensure that schools engage all pupils in regular physical activity. The Government is endorsing the Chief Medical Officer guidelines recommending that primary school children undertake at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day in school and 30 minutes at home.

We are working to improve young people’s;

  •     Physical wellbeing (physical fitness).
  •     Mental wellbeing (cognitive development & functioning, attention & behaviour).
  •     Knowledge of how to keep themselves healthy, through exercising and healthy eating.
  •     Level of perceived self-efficacy and self-confidence.
