KS1 Gymnastics Festival 🤸

This exciting KS1 Gymnastics Festival offers a fun rotation of gymnastics activities including balance beams, vaulting, floor sequences, bars and multiskills/conditioning. Pupils will explore movement, build confidence and develop coordination 🌟

Objective:
To introduce key gymnastic movements and skills in a fun and supportive environment- helping children develop balance, strength and coordination through physical activity. 💪

Intent:
Championing physical literacy and enjoyment of movement while promoting inclusive participation in fundamental gymnastics skills.

Target Audience:
One RSVP per school- admits5 pupils from Year 1 & 2.

Please select pupils who:

Are less confident in physical activity or gymnastics
Would benefit from trying something new and structured
Can participate in a team environment with support
Will represent the school in a mature and respectful manner
Are excited to explore movement and coordination through play and challenge!

Event Format:

Pupils will rotate through a variety of gymnastics stations, including:
