Y5&6 Mixed Cricket

Objective:
Promote success and achievement
Improve knowledge and understanding of sport and physical activity
Target Audience:
Children that want to play cricket for their school team in a competitive environment 🏏
Please select pupils who:
-
- Have an understanding of the cricket rules.
- Will represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.
Event Format:
- Pupils will compete against other schools in a league style format.
- The top teams in each pools will qualify for the final
- All equipment will be provided, and the competition will be run by qualified CSSP staff
Logistics:
- Pupils should wear trainers.
- A water bottle is required. Under NO circumstances may energy drinks & juice be brought onto the pitch
- Teams should bring their own bats & balls to warm up with.
- School PE kit to be worn.
- Schools are responsible for their own transport and supervision.
Key Outcomes:
- Experiencing a competition environment.
- Encourage teamwork and resilience.
- Show respect to all others involved.
