Raise your voice and let the music shine! Join us at St Michael’s High School for our annual Primary Singing Competition, open to solos, duets, and group performances from all age groups. This is a celebration of vocal talent, confidence, and creative expression — all in a supportive and exciting performance environment! 🤩
Objective:
To provide pupils with an opportunity to perform and express themselves through singing, while building confidence, creativity and stage presence
Intent:
To promote success and achievement and create positive performance experiences 🙌
Target Audience:
1 RSVP per school admits pupils from all year groups;
🎤 Up to 2 solo or duet entries
🎶 Up to 2 group pieces
Please select pupils who:

Enjoy singing and would benefit from a positive performance experience

Can perform respectfully and supportively alongside other schools

Are excited to showcase their talent and teamwork in a musical setting
Event Format:

Performances may include solos, duets, or groups

There is no set theme – schools are free to choose any age-appropriate songs

A panel of experienced performers will judge each entry, providing feedback

Medals will be awarded for top scorers in each category

Certificates for all participants
Logistics:

Hosted at St Michael’s High School

Each school may enter a maximum of 2 solos/duets and 2 group pieces

All songs must be appropriate for a primary audience

Schools are responsible for transport and supervision

Bring any backing tracks or props needed

Spectators welcome
