Panathlon Multi-Skills Competition 🏅

Get ready for an inspiring day of skills, teamwork, and fun at the Panathlon Multi-Skills Competition! This event is a brilliant opportunity for pupils to showcase a range of skills in a safe and inclusive environment. We’re on a mission to build confidence and self-belief while promoting the core values of the Panathlon Challenge: participation, achievement, and enjoyment. It’s all about working together, trying your best, and celebrating every success. Let’s get competing! ✨

Objective: To increase confidence, engagement, and physical activity levels among pupils, using a variety of multi-skills challenges to promote participation, skill development, and personal achievement.

Intent: Championing physical literacy

Target Audience: Each school is invited to nominate a mixed-gender team of 6 children from Year 2 & 3, who would benefit from an inclusive event (SEND).

Please select pupils who:

Have not previously represented the school in a competitive capacity.
Are not currently working at the expected level in PE.
Are capable of working in a team.
Will represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.
Are willing to try new activities and learn.

Event Format:

Pupils will take part in a series of different multi-skills activities, such as boccia, new age kurling, table cricket, and adapted athletics.
The event will be a carousel of fun, inclusive challenges focused on participation and skill development.
All necessary equipment will be provided.
