Event Format
You’ll be part of a Glow Dodgeball Festival, helping Chorley School Sport Partnership staff deliver a fun, high-energy event for younger pupils.
Pupils will take part in a carousel of dodgeball games against other schools, while you play a key role in making the event a success. All equipment will be provided, and the event will be led by qualified CSSP staff.
As a Young Leader, you will:
- Lead warm-up activities
- Help organise and manage games
- Officiate matches and support fair play
- Encourage and motivate participants
- Create a fun, safe and positive experience for everyone
You will:
✅ Develop leadership, confidence and communication skills
✅ Gain valuable experience working with younger children
✅ Build teamwork, organisation and problem-solving skills
✅ Create positive experiences through sport and physical activity
✅ Meet and work alongside other young leaders
✅ Enhance your understanding of sports event delivery
Logistics
✅ Please wear School PE kit must be worn
✅ Trainers are required
✅ Bring a water bottle (water only please) 💦 Energy drinks and juice are not permitted in the sports hall
✅ Leaders are responsible for their own transport
✅ Please sign in on arrival and sign out before leaving
