We’re on a mission to ignite confidence, spark engagement, and get those energy levels soaring, especially for our Year 7 boys. Get ready to “Light It Up”! 🌟

Objective:
To increase confidence, engagement, and physical activity levels among pupils who are less active or less engaged in PE.

Intent: Improve health and wellbeing (i.e 60 active minutes)

Target Audience:

Each school is invited to nominate a mixed team of 10 children from Year 3&4, who are less active or less engaged in physical education.

Please select pupils who:

Have not previously represented the school in sport.
Are not currently working at the expected level in PE.
Are capable of working in a team.
Will represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.
Are willing to try new activities and learn.

Event Format:

Pupils will take part in a series of dodgeball games in a darkened sports hall with glow-in-the-dark equipment.
Teams of ten will compete against each other in a round-robin style tournament.
