Feel the rhythm, find your confidence and express yourself through dance!
Join us for an empowering and energetic afternoon where KS2 boys will take part in warm-ups, ice breaker games and learn an exciting routine from an external male dance instructor. This inclusive event aims to inspire the next generation, tackle inequalities and show that dance is for everyone 🎉

Objective:

To provide a safe, supportive space for boys to explore dance, build self-esteem, and connect with others through creative activity.

Intent:

To engage young target groups and tackle inequalities🕺🙌

Target Audience:
1 RSVP per school admits 6 KS2 boys

Please select pupils who:

May not usually choose dance but would benefit from a positive, inclusive experience
Would enjoy moving, performing, or trying something new
Can work positively in a group and represent the school respectfully

Event Format:

Arrival from 12:45pm
Full warm-up and ice breaker dance games to build confidence and connection
Pupils will then learn and perform a group dance routine led by an external male dance coach
No experience or preparation necessary – just bring energy and enthusiasm!
This is a non-competitive festival format focused on fun and expression
