Get ready for an inspiring day of strategy, precision, and fun at the Boccia Festival! This event is a brilliant opportunity for pupils to develop key skills in a safe and inclusive environment. We’re on a mission to boost physical literacy and build confidence through a sport that anyone can play. It’s all about teamwork, focus, and celebrating every great shot. Let’s get rolling! ✨

Objective: To increase confidence, engagement, and physical activity levels among pupils, using boccia to promote physical literacy, participation, and skill development.

Intent: Engage new/target groups of young people (tackling inequalities)

Target Audience: Each school is invited to nominate a mixed-gender team of 6 children from KS2, who would benefit from an inclusive event (SEND).

Please select pupils who:

Have not previously represented the school in a competitive capacity.
Are not currently working at the expected level in PE.
Are capable of working in a team.
Will represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.
Are willing to try new activities and learn.

Event Format:

Pupils will take part in a series of boccia games and skill challenges.
The event will be a carousel of fun, inclusive activities focused on participation and skill development.
