Objective: To increase physical activity levels and engagement among pupils by introducing unique international sports to promote cultural curiosity, teamwork, and skill development. 🎯

Intent: Build social skills and connections (i.e sense of belonging)

Target Audience: Each school is invited to nominate mixed-gender teams of 10 pupils who participate less regularly in organised school sports teams and would benefit from experiencing alternative, non-traditional sports.

Please select pupils who:

Do not regularly engage in mainstream competitive school sports.
Possess an open mind and enthusiasm for learning new games.
Are capable of working collaboratively as part of a team.
Will represent the school in a respectful and encouraging manner.
Are excited to explore different sporting cultures alongside their peers.

Event Format:

Pupils will rotate through a series of international sports stations, including American football, Kabadi and Baseball.
Each station introduces basic rules, fundamental skills, and short, friendly matchplay in a supportive setting.
Focus is placed on exploration, teamwork, and active participation rather than win-loss records.
