Take the Stage – Primary Talent Competition 🎭
Join us at St Michael’s High School for “Take the Stage”, an exciting celebration of talent where primary pupils can showcase their unique skills in front of a live audience.Whether it’s singing, circus skills, magic, comedy or something completely unique, this is a chance for children to perform, build confidence and celebrate creativity in a fun and supportive environment⭐
Objective: To provide pupils with an exciting opportunity to perform, express themselves and celebrate their individual talents while developing confidence, creativity and stage presence.
Intent: To inspire confidence, encourage creativity and celebrate the amazing talents within our primary schools through positive performance experiences.
Target Audience:
1 RSVP per school admits pupils from all year groups.
Each school may enter:
🎭 1 Solo or Duet Performances
⭐ 2 Group Performance (Min 3, max 20)
Schools should select pupils who:
- Enjoy performing and would benefit from a positive stage experience.
- Can perform respectfully and supportively alongside other schools.
- Are excited to showcase their talents and represent their school.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, confidence and teamwork.
Event Format:
Performances can include a wide variety of talents ✨
- Performances should be no longer than 4 minutes
- Solo & Duet category followed by groups.
- There is no set theme—schools are free to choose their own performance.
- A panel of experienced judges will provide constructive feedback.
- Entries will be scored on Talent & Skill, Creativity, Stage Presence and Overall Impact

- 1st Place
- 2nd Place
- 3rd Place
🏆 Group Performance Category
- 1st Place
- 2nd Place
- 3rd Place
🌟 Judges Choice Award
🏅 Certificates awarded to all participants.
Logistics:
📍 Hosted at St Michael’s High School
🎭 Maximum 1 Solo/Duet and 2 Group Performances per school.
⏱️ Maximum performance length: 4 minutes
🎵 Schools should submit any backing tracks at least 2 weeks prior to the event and bring any instruments or props required.
👨🏫 Schools are responsible for transport and supervision.
🎟️ The event will be ticketed for spectators.
