Get ready for a morning of teamwork, speed, and fun at the Net & Wall Festival! This event is a brilliant opportunity for pupils to get active and learn the basics of net and wall games in a safe and engaging way. We’re on a mission to build confidence and communication skills while promoting the core values of the sport: teamwork, respect, and enjoyment. It’s all about working together, winning rallies, and making great memories. Let’s get on the court!🏸

Objective: To increase confidence, engagement, and physical activity levels among pupils, using net and wall games to promote teamwork, respect, and skill development.

Intent: Engage new target groups of young people

Target Audience: Each school is invited to nominate a mixed-gender team of 6 children from Yr3&4, who show good athletic ability but would not typically be selected for a school team.

Please select pupils who:

Have not previously represented the school in a competitive capacity.
Are not currently working at the expected level in PE.
Are capable of working in a team.
Will represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.
Are willing to try new activities and learn.

Event Format:

Pupils will take part in a series of net and wall games such as, and skill-building activities, such as racket control drills, rally challenges, and court placement.
The event will be a carousel of fun, inclusive games focused on participation and skill development.
