Bikeability Level 1 & 2

Bikeability Level 1 helps children to control and master their bikes in a traffic free space, usually a school playground, gaining the skills to prepare them for riding on the road. Most children will experience Level 1 as part of a combined Level 1 and 2 course but we can offer standalone Bikeability Level 1 to Y4 and up. This is subsidised through our Bikeability grant.  Please book a Learn to Ride course first if you have children that cannot yet ride their bikes.

Bikeability Level 2 takes place on local roads, where trainees learn how to safely deal with traffic on short journeys such as to school or shops. Usually delivered as a combined Level 1 and 2 course over 2 days. This is funded through our Bikeability grant.
