Euxton C of E Quicksticks Finals Champions

In spite of the wind and rain the KS2 School Games Quicksticks League Final took place at Holy Cross Catholic High School earlier this evening.

Teams from Anderton St Joseph's, Balshaw Lane, Buckshaw, Christ Church Charnock Richard, Euxton C of E and St Gregory's battled it out in a round robin, with all schools playing each other for the spoils.

The standard of play was amazing with plenty of goals being scored, resulting in a closely fought contest.

Euxton C of E took the gold by one point over St Gregory's with Anderton St Joseph's securing the bronze.
