More than 700 primary school children descended on Astley Park, Chorley this weekend for the Annual Cross-Country Championships where pupils from 25 schools competed in 4 races for boys and girls in years 3, 4, 5 and 6.
The day began at 10am with the Year 5 and 6 Girls race and concluded with a family fun run with little ones as young as one year old having a go, helping to make the event Chorley School Sports Partnership’s biggest of the year.
