Primary School Swimming Galas

The two primary school swimming galas took place last week at All Seasons Leisure Centre with over 200 young people taking part in both elite races and aquasplash events. After some very close finishes the overall winners of the small schools gala were St Chad's with Bretherton Endowed and Withnell Fold sharing second place. Euxton C of E once again won gold in the large schools gala with The Parish of St Laurence in second and Trinity & St Michael's in third place.

Withnell Fold and St Chad's also shared first place in the small schools Aquasplash event with Sacred Heart taking the bronze medals. Chorley St Mary's took the gold in the large schools Aquasplash event with Chorley St Joseph's in second place and St George's picking up the bronze.
