KS2 Football League Finals 2016

70 players from 8 primary schools took part in this year's SSP KS2 Football League Finals at Holy Cross on Thursday 8th December.  The Parish of St Laurence Primary School and Balshaw Lane Community Primary School qualified for the semi finals as overall pool winners with Eccleston Primary and St George's Primary going through as respective runners up.

After two hard fought halves of play the scores in both semi finals remained at 0 - 0 so it came down to dreaded penalties. Balshaw Lane and St George's both came through as winners with Balshaw Lane winning 5 - 0 in the final taking the gold medals. St Laurence took the bronze medals with a 2 -1 win over Eccleston Primary in the 3rd place play off. 

All four semi finalists have been invited to represent Chorley in the PNE Cup at Play Football Tulketh on Thursday 19th January 1 - 4pm.
