Orienteering competiton

Over 180 Year 5 and 6 pupils took part in the Orienteering Competition on Wednesday 27th April. The rain stayed away and we even enjoyed some sunshine, though it was a tad chilly for SSP staff and volunteers and the teachers and parents, who weren't running round the park searching for control points! Astley Park provided a stunning backdrop to the event, especially now that all the bluebells are out!

Congratulations to Anderton St Josephs who emerged winners, just 4 seconds ahead of St Laurence with Buckshaw snatching the bronze medal and Brinscall St Johns in 4th.

Anderton St Josephs will represent Chorley at the Lancashire School Games Finals on Tuesday 5th July in Blackpool
