PALs Training

Myself, Gary and Sharon have started going into schools now delivering the Playground Activity Leader programme.  This involves children (usually Year 5 or 6, but can be Year 4) being taught to be a playground leader who provide fun opportunities for KS1 children on their school playground.  Its done over a morning and involves a short theory session followed by lots of practical ideas that the children can use.

We cover things such as:-

  • How to keep games safe
  • How to make them more easy/difficult
  • How to be an effective leader
  • What to do if somebody gets injured

On completion of the course the children will receive a certificate and schools usually sort them into small groups to work on the yard on a rota system.

If your school hasn't already, please contact us and book in your PALs training as we try to complete it all in Autumn/Block 2. It is included in the full buy in package, but can be purchased as an add on.
