A cross country race series (2 races) open to all pupils from the following schools:

A complete team is made up of 4 or more runners, all teams are allocated a finishing position with B & C teams generated if more than 4 runners are in the team.
Individual winners - 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each race.
Team Winners - First team to get 4 finishers across the line.

Lancashire County Cross Country Championship Qualification Race.
For the 2022 County Cross Country Championships there are two qualifying races.
29th September 2021 Albany Academy
7th October 2021 Holy Cross Catholic High School
Initial selection for the Championship race is based on runners achieving an average finishing position of 8th or better over the two races.
