The festival provides an opportunity to reset\, recharge and connect with others. \nObjective: To provide pupils with a positive brain break from school\, supporting their physical\, mental and emotional wellbeing through a variety of enjoyable outdoor experiences. \nIntent: Improving health & wellbeing and encouraging 60 active minutes. \nTarget Audience: One RSVP per school – admits 8 pupils from KS2. \nPlease select pupils who: \n\nWould benefit from a positive break from the school environment\nMay benefit from opportunities to relax\, reset and recharge\nEnjoy working with others and taking part in new experiences\nWould benefit from developing confidence\, communication and teamwork skills\nCan participate positively and respectfully in a group environment\nWill represent the school in a mature and respectful manner\n\nEvent Format: \nPupils will rotate through a variety of outdoor wellbeing and enrichment experiences\, including: \n➤ Teamwork & Outdoor Adventure Activities\n➤ Outdoor Creative Challenges\n➤ Outdoor Fitness & Movement\n➤ Reset Yoga & Mindfulness \nLogistics: \n\nArrival from 12:45pm for a 1pm start\nActivities will take place outdoors\, so pupils should come prepared for the weather\nPupils should wear comfortable\, sporty clothing or PE kits and suitable outdoor footwear\nJewellery must be removed and long hair tied back where appropriate\nBring plenty of water and a snack if needed\n\nLocation: \nAstley Park\, Park Rd\, Chorley PR7 1RF (Near the bowling green and tennis courts)

This event is an exciting opportunity for pupils to get active and discover sports played around the globe in a fun\, vibrant environment. We’re on a mission to broaden sporting horizons\, foster global awareness\, and promote physical health through unique international games like American football\, Kabadi and Baseball. It’s all about trying new things\, discovering world traditions\, and making memories together. Let’s take on the world! 🌍🏆✨ \nObjective: To increase physical activity levels and engagement among pupils by introducing unique international sports to promote cultural curiosity\, teamwork\, and skill development. 🎯 \nIntent: Build social skills and connections (i.e sense of belonging) \nTarget Audience: Each school is invited to nominate mixed-gender teams of 10 pupils who participate less regularly in organised school sports teams and would benefit from experiencing alternative\, non-traditional sports. \nPlease select pupils who: \n\nDo not regularly engage in mainstream competitive school sports.\nPossess an open mind and enthusiasm for learning new games.\nAre capable of working collaboratively as part of a team.\nWill represent the school in a respectful and encouraging manner.\nAre excited to explore different sporting cultures alongside their peers.\n\nEvent Format: \n\nPupils will rotate through a series of international sports stations\, including American football\, Kabadi and Baseball.\nEach station introduces basic rules\, fundamental skills\, and short\, friendly matchplay in a supportive setting.\nFocus is placed on exploration\, teamwork\, and active participation rather than win-loss records.\nAll necessary specialised equipment will be provided. 🎒\n\nLogistics: \n\nPupils should arrive in school PE kit and trainers.\nSchools are responsible for their own transport and supervision.\nPlease report to the event coordinator upon arrival to sign in.\nWater only – no energy drinks or juice. 💧\n\nKey Outcomes: \n\nExposure to diverse global movement cultures and non-traditional sports.\nIncreased physical confidence and enjoyment in trying unfamiliar activities.\nEnhanced teamwork\, communication\, and peer collaboration skills.\n\nLocation: \nParklands High School\, Southport Rd\, Chorley PR7 1LL

DESCRIPTION:Only book 1 date. \nObjective:\nPromote success and achievement \nImprove knowledge and understanding of sport and physical activity \nTarget Audience: \nChildren that want to play cricket for their school team in a competitive environment 🏏 \nPlease select pupils who: \n\n\n\nHave an understanding of the cricket rules.\nWill represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.\n\n\n\n10 in a Squad\, 8 in a team. \nEvent Format: \n\nPupils will compete against other schools in a league style format.\nThe top teams in each pools will qualify for the final \nAll equipment will be provided\, and the competition will be run by qualified CSSP staff\n\nLogistics: \n\nPupils should wear trainers.\nA water bottle is required. Under NO circumstances may energy drinks & juice be brought onto the pitch \nTeams should bring their own bats & balls to warm up with.\nSchool PE kit to be worn.\nSchools are responsible for their own transport and supervision.\n\nKey Outcomes: \n\nExperiencing a competition environment.\nEncourage teamwork and resilience.\nShow respect to all others involved.
