DESCRIPTION:Objective:\n\nPromote success and achievement\nImprove knowledge and understanding of sport and physical activity\n\nTarget Audience: \nChildren that want to compete in Sportshall athletics for their school team in a competitive environment🏃‍♀️ \nPlease select pupils who: \n\n\n\nHave an understanding of the different rules for each Sportshall event.\nWill represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.\nWill encourage others when not participating themselves.\n\n\n\nEvent Format: \n\nPupils will compete against other schools in 2 heats of 4\nThe top teams overall after ALL events will be invited to the finals.\nAll equipment will be provided\, and the competition will be run by qualified CSSP staff\n\nLogistics: \n\nPupils should wear trainers.\nA water bottle is required. Under NO circumstances may energy drinks & juice be brought onto the pitch \nSchool PE kit to be worn.\nSchools are responsible for their own transport and supervision.\n\nKey Outcomes: \n\nExperiencing a competition environment.\nEncourage teamwork and resilience.\nShow respect to all others involved.\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Take the Stage – Primary Talent Competition 🎭\n  \nJoin us at St Michael’s High School for “Take the Stage”\, an exciting celebration of talent where primary pupils can showcase their unique skills in front of a live audience.Whether it’s singing\, circus skills\, magic\, comedy or something completely unique\, this is a chance for children to perform\, build confidence and celebrate creativity in a fun and supportive environment⭐ \nObjective: To provide pupils with an exciting opportunity to perform\, express themselves and celebrate their individual talents while developing confidence\, creativity and stage presence. \nIntent: To inspire confidence\, encourage creativity and celebrate the amazing talents within our primary schools through positive performance experiences. \nTarget Audience: \n1 RSVP per school admits pupils from all year groups. \nEach school may enter: \n🎭 1 Solo or Duet Performances \n⭐ 2 Group Performance (Min 3\, max 20) \nSchools should select pupils who: \n\nEnjoy performing and would benefit from a positive stage experience.\nCan perform respectfully and supportively alongside other schools.\nAre excited to showcase their talents and represent their school.\nDemonstrate enthusiasm\, confidence and teamwork.\n\nEvent Format:\nPerformances can include a wide variety of talents ✨ \n\nPerformances should be no longer than 4 minutes\nSolo & Duet category followed by groups.\nThere is no set theme—schools are free to choose their own performance.\nA panel of experienced judges will provide constructive feedback.\nEntries will be scored on Talent & Skill\, Creativity\, Stage Presence and Overall Impact\n\nAwards:\n🏆 Solo/Duet Category \n\n1st Place\n2nd Place\n3rd Place\n\n🏆 Group Performance Category \n\n1st Place\n2nd Place\n3rd Place\n\n🌟 Judges Choice Award  \n🏅 Certificates awarded to all participants. \nLogistics: \n📍 Hosted at St Michael’s High School \n🎭 Maximum 1 Solo/Duet and 2 Group Performances per school. \n⏱️ Maximum performance length: 4 minutes \n🎵 Schools should submit any backing tracks at least 2 weeks prior to the event and bring any instruments or props required. \n👨‍🏫 Schools are responsible for transport and supervision. \n🎟️ The event will be ticketed for spectators.
