This event is all about building social skills\, trying new activities\, and creating a strong sense of belonging. Pupils will have the chance to experience a variety of activities\, including rugby\, football and dance. It’s not just about sport; it’s an opportunity to build confidence\, connect with others\, and celebrate personal achievements in a fun\, no stigma environment. Come join us and find your team spirit! \nObjective: To increase confidence\, engagement\, and physical activity levels among pupils who participate less regularly in sports\, using a variety of activities to promote teamwork\, skill development \nIntent: Improve knowledge and understanding of sport and physical activity \nTarget Audience: Each school is invited to nominate mixed-gender teams of 10 pupils from Yr1&2\, particularly those who participate less regularly in sports but are confident and eager to try something new. \nPlease select pupils who: \n\nDo not regularly participate in extracurricular sports or physical activities.\nPossess good personal confidence and an enthusiasm for trying new sports.\nAre capable of working in a group.\nWill represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.\nAre willing to engage in new activities and support their peers.\n\nEvent Format: \n\nPupils will rotate through a series of interactive\, adaptive stations featuring rugby drills\, football skills\, dance workshops\, and multi-sports challenges.\nActivities focus on fundamental movements\, teamwork\, rhythm\, and basic ball handling in a fun\, low-pressure setting.\nEach station is tailored to ensure full participation and enjoyment for all ability levels.\nAll necessary equipment will be provided.\n\nLogistics: \n\nPupils should arrive in comfortable clothing (or school PE kit) and trainers.\nSchools are responsible for their own transport and supervision.\nWater only – No juice or energy drinks\n\nKey Outcomes: \n\nImproved social skills and connections\, fostering a sense of belonging and teamwork.\nIncreased confidence and engagement in physical activity.\nAn enjoyable and memorable sporting experience for all participants.\n\nAddress: \nInspire Youth Zone\, Chapel Street\, Chorley\, Lancashire PR7 1BS
