This event is a celebration of timeless games that will get everyone moving and smiling. Our mission is to boost health and well-being by making physical activity a joyful and memorable experience for every child. This is a fantastic chance for pupils to try something new\, build teamwork\, and make great memories. Let’s get active the old-fashioned way! ✨ \nObjective: To increase confidence\, engagement\, and physical activity levels among pupils who are less active or less engaged in PE\, promoting overall health and well-being. \nIntent: To provide a positive and inclusive sporting experience that helps children achieve their 60 active minutes for the day. \nTarget Audience: Each school is invited to nominate a mixed-gender team of ten children from Year 2\, who are less active or less engaged in physical education. \nPlease select pupils who: \n\nHave not previously represented the school in sport.\nAre not currently working at the expected level in PE.\nAre capable of working in a team.\nWill represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.\nAre willing to try new activities and learn.\n\nEvent Format: \n\nPupils will take part in a series of different traditional games and skill-building activities.\nThe event will be a carousel of fun\, inclusive games that may include classics like tag\, skipping\, or tug-of-war.\nAll equipment will be provided.\n\nLogistics: \n\nPupils should arrive in school PE kit and trainers.\nSchools are responsible for their own transport and supervision.\nFor drop-off and pick-up\, please use the designated car park.\nWater only – no energy drinks or juice.
