DESCRIPTION:Secondary Panathlon Football ⚽️\nGet ready for an exciting afternoon of high energy matches and strategic play at the SEND Panathlon Football Competition! This event is a fantastic opportunity for pupils to step onto the pitch and immerse themselves in a world of inclusive\, competitive sport. We’re on a mission to build confidence and coordination through a structured tournament format that rewards effort and teamwork. It’s all about working together\, pushing for the win\, and discovering the thrill of competition. Let’s hit the grass and go for goal! ⚽🏆 \nObjective: To increase confidence\, engagement\, and physical activity levels among pupils\, using adapted football drills and games to promote inclusion and teamwork. \nIntent: Engage new/target groups of young people (tackling inequalities) \nTarget Audience: Each school is invited to nominate a mixed-gender team of ten children from KS3\, who have SEND and are ready to represent their school in a competitive setting. \nPlease select pupils who: \n\nHave not previously represented the school in sport.\nAre not currently working at the expected level in PE.\nAre capable of working in a team.\nWill represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.\nAre willing to try new activities and learn.\n\nEvent Format:\n\nPupils will complete in a tournament style format\nMatches will be played in a small-sided format with adapted rules to ensure full inclusion and maximum participation.\nAll necessary equipment will be provided.\n\nLogistics:\n\nPupils should arrive in school PE kit and trainers.\nSchools are responsible for their own transport and supervision.\nFor drop-off and pick-up\, please use the designated car park.\nWater only – no energy drinks or juice.
