This event is designed to get more young people active and engaged in school sport. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build connections with your teammates and discover new skills in a fun\, supportive environment. Come join us and find your place on the court! ✨ \nObjective: To increase confidence\, engagement\, and physical activity levels among pupils\, using invasion games as a fun and accessible way to promote participation in school sport. \nIntent: \nTarget Audience: Each school is invited to nominate a mixed-gender team of 10 pupils from Key Stage 2 who are capable but not elite athletes. \nWe kindly ask that you select pupils who: \n\nHave not previously represented the school in a competitive capacity.\nAre looking to improve their skills and confidence in a team environment.\nAre capable of working well with others.\nWill represent the school in a respectful manner.\nAre willing to try new activities and learn.\n\nEvent Format: \n\nPupils will take part in a series of different invasion games and skill-building activities. These may include adapted versions of games like handball\, basketball\, or dodgeball.\nThe event will be a carousel of inclusive\, non-competitive games and challenges.\nAll equipment will be provided.\n\nLogistics: \n\nPupils should arrive in comfortable sportswear and trainers.\nWater only – No energy drinks or juice\nSchools are responsible for their own transport and supervision.
