DESCRIPTION:Outdoor Adventure Festival 🗺️\nGet ready for an exciting day of challenges and collaboration at the Outdoor Adventure Festival! This event is a fantastic opportunity to step out of the classroom and into a world of problem-solving and teamwork. We’re on a mission to build confidence and communication skills through a series of fun outdoor activities. It’s all about working together\, trying new things\, and discovering a new kind of fun. Let’s get outside and get active! ✨ \nObjective: To increase confidence\, engagement\, and physical activity levels among pupils\, using outdoor adventure activities to promote problem-solving and teamwork. \nIntent: Develop leadership\, character and life skills \nTarget Audience: Each school is invited to nominate a mixed-gender team of ten children from Year 7 & 8\, who are less active or less engaged in physical education. \nPlease select pupils who: \n\nHave not previously represented the school in sport.\nAre not currently working at the expected level in PE.\nAre capable of working in a team.\nWill represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.\nAre willing to try new activities and learn.\n\nEvent Format:\n\nPupils will take part in a series of outdoor adventure activities\, such as orienteering\, problem-solving challenges\, and teamwork games.\nThe event will be a carousel of fun\, inclusive activities focused on collaboration.\nAll necessary equipment will be provided.\n\nLogistics:\n\nPupils should arrive in school PE kit and trainers.\nSchools are responsible for their own transport and supervision.\nFor drop-off and pick-up\, please use the designated car park.\nWater only – no energy drinks or juice.
