It’s a chance to build confidence\, self-control\, and respect for yourself and others. This isn’t just about learning new moves; it’s an opportunity to discover your potential and build powerful connections with your peers. Come join us and find your inner warrior! ✨ \n  \nFestival Details:\n  \nObjective: To use martial arts as a tool to increase confidence\, engagement\, and physical activity levels among pupils\, promoting the positive values associated with the discipline. 💪😊 \nIntent: Develop leadership\, character\, life skills \nTarget Audience: Each school is invited to nominate a mixed-gender team of eight pupils from Year 1&2 who are less active or engaged in PE. \nPlease select pupils who: \n\nAre not currently working at the expected level in PE. 📈\nAre capable of working in a group. 🤝\nWill represent the school in a mature and respectful manner. 🎓\nAre willing to try new activities and learn. 🤔💡\n\n  \nEvent Format:\n\nPupils will take part in a series of martial arts taster sessions\, including a mix of basic strikes\, blocks\, and movement drills. 🎯\nThe event will be a carousel of fun\, inclusive activities led by qualified instructors from a variety of martial arts disciplines. 🤸\nAll equipment will be provided.\n\n  \nLogistics:\n\nThe event will take place at Inspire Youth Zone\, Chorley. 🗺️\nPupils should arrive in comfortable clothing (no zips or buttons) bare feet will be required throughout the activites. 👣\nSchools are responsible for their own transport and supervision. 🚌\nA full risk assessment will be provided in advance of the event. ⚠️📝\n\n  \nKey Outcomes:\n\nEnhanced personal discipline and self-control. 🌟\nIncreased confidence and resilience through trying new physical challenges. 🙌\nA deeper understanding of the importance of respect and teamwork. 🤝\nAn enjoyable and memorable sporting experience for all participants. 🎉😃
