DESCRIPTION:KS1 Gymnastics Festival 🤸\nThis exciting KS1 Gymnastics Festival offers a fun rotation of gymnastics activities including balance beams\, vaulting\, floor sequences\, bars and multiskills/conditioning. Pupils will explore movement\, build confidence and develop coordination 🌟 \nObjective:To introduce key gymnastic movements and skills in a fun and supportive environment- helping children develop balance\, strength and coordination through physical activity. 💪 \nIntent:Championing physical literacy and enjoyment of movement while promoting inclusive participation in fundamental gymnastics skills. \nTarget Audience:One RSVP per school- admits 5 pupils from Year 1 & 2. \nPlease select pupils who: \n\n\nAre less confident in physical activity or gymnastics \n\n\nWould benefit from trying something new and structured \n\n\nCan participate in a team environment with support \n\n\nWill represent the school in a mature and respectful manner \n\n\nAre excited to explore movement and coordination through play and challenge! \n\n\nEvent Format: \n\n\nPupils will rotate through a variety of gymnastics stations\, including:➤ Balance Beams➤ Vaulting➤ Floor Sequences➤ Bars➤ Conditioning / Multiskills Activities \n\n\nLogistics: \n\n\nArrival from 9:15am for a full safety briefing and warm-up at 9:30am \n\n\nPupils must be barefoot and wear comfortable sporty clothing or PE kits \n\n\nJewellery must be removed and long hair tied back for safety \n\n\nBring plenty of water and a snack if needed \n\n\nNo previous gymnastics experience required \n\n\nVenue has its own carpark
