DESCRIPTION:Panathlon Multi-Skills Competition 🏅\nGet ready for an inspiring day of skills\, teamwork\, and fun at the Panathlon Multi-Skills Competition! This event is a brilliant opportunity for pupils to showcase a range of skills in a safe and inclusive environment. We’re on a mission to build confidence and self-belief while promoting the core values of the Panathlon Challenge: participation\, achievement\, and enjoyment. It’s all about working together\, trying your best\, and celebrating every success. Let’s get competing! ✨ \nObjective: To increase confidence\, engagement\, and physical activity levels among pupils\, using a variety of multi-skills challenges to promote participation\, skill development\, and personal achievement. \nIntent: Championing physical literacy \nTarget Audience: Each school is invited to nominate a mixed-gender team of 6 children from KS2\, who would benefit from an inclusive event (SEND). \nAs this is a National Pathway event\, the winners will progress to the Lancashire County Final. Therefore\, schools typically bring pupils from Years 5 and 6. \nPlease select pupils who: \n\nHave not previously represented the school in a competitive capacity.\nAre not currently working at the expected level in PE.\nAre capable of working in a team.\nWill represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.\nAre willing to try new activities and learn.\n\nEvent Format: \n\nPupils will take part in a series of different multi-skills activities\, such as boccia\, new age kurling\, table cricket\, and adapted athletics.\nThe event will be a carousel of fun\, inclusive challenges focused on participation and skill development.\nAll necessary equipment will be provided.
