DESCRIPTION:Urban Wheels Experience\nObjective:\nTo increase confidence\, engagement\, and physical activity levels among pupils who are less active or less engaged in PE. \nTarget Audience: \nEach school is invited to nominate 5-7 boys from Year 5 \,  who are less active or less engaged in physical education. \nPlease select pupils who: \n\n\n\nHave not previously represented the school in sport.\nAre not currently working at the expected level in PE.\nAre capable of working in a team.\nWill represent the school in a mature and respectful manner.\nAre willing to try new activities and learn.\n\n\n\nEvent Format: \n\nPupils will take part in a carousel of three urban sports:\n\nBMX\nScooter\nSkateboard\n\n\nThere will be 3 groups of up to 15 children\, rotating through each activity station.\nAll equipment will be provided\, and sessions will be led by qualified instructors.\n\nLogistics: \n\nPupils should arrive in comfortable sportswear and trainers.\nPacked lunch required – children will eat after the activities.\nSchools are responsible for their own transport and supervision.\nA full risk assessment will be provided in advance of the event.\n\nKey Outcomes: \n\nBuild confidence in trying new physical activities.\nEncourage teamwork and resilience.\nProvide a positive and inclusive sporting experience.\n\nAddress: Junction4 Skatepark\, Blackburn Road\, Darwen\, BB3 0AL
