DESCRIPTION:Objective:\nDevelop leadership\, character\, life skills \nCreate positive experiences \nBuild social skills and connection \nImprove knowledge and understanding of sport and physical activity \nTarget Audience: \nEach school is invited to nominate a mixed-gender team of 10 pupils from Key Stage 2 who are capable but not elite athletes. \nEvent Format: \n\nPupils will take part in a series of different invasion games and skill-building activities.\nThese may include adapted versions of games like handball\, basketball\, or dodgeball.\nThe event will be a carousel of inclusive\, non-competitive games and challenges.\nAll equipment will be provided.\nThe event will be run by qualified CSSP staff.\nLeaders will be involved with helping to set up the equipment stations\, manning a station\, coaching pupils and communicating with teachers and pupils.\n\nLogistics: \n\nLeaders should wear trainers. \nA water bottle is required. Under NO circumstances may energy drinks & juice be brought. \nSchool PE kit to be worn.\nLeaders are responsible for their own transport.
